Dean's Study Abroad Support Funds

Financial Support for Short-Term Credit-bearing Study Abroad

The Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences has established a fund to provide financial support for CAS students on short-term Lehigh Study Abroad Programs. The fund is for CAS students approved for a short-term (winter or summer session) credit bearing courses led by a Lehigh faculty member(s) to enhance their learning experience.

To qualify, students must demonstrate financial need. To apply, the student must submit the Travel Grant Application along with a one-page letter of request explaining why the study abroad opportunity is important to her or his academic development and speaking to the financial need.  The application must have the faculty leader signature of endorsement.

The College of Arts and Science's Short-Term Travel Grant funds are provided by gifts from our generous donors.  As a condition of accepting this funding, awardees are asked to provide a written thank you note to our donor(s).  Upon completion of travel, further information such as a donor name and address will be provided to each recipient.

Applications will be reviewed and considered on a rolling basis and the application deadline dates are by: Mid November (Winter programs) and Mid April (Summer programs).  Application with faculty endorsement and letter of request must be submitted to Katie Radande, Director, Study Abroad, Office of International Affairs, 32 Sayre Drive, Coxe Hall.

Best Wishes on your submission...
